This instrument is part of the Los Angeles Contemporary Violin & Bow Maker 2017 Exhibition & Sale.
I have been making, repairing, and restoring violin family instruments for 35 years including the past 29 years at the Guarneri House in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
After graduating with a degree in Applied Arts from Iowa State University I worked and received training at Bein and Fushi in Chicago. My other teachers include Karl Roy and Carleen Hutchins.
I am grateful for the help I have received from all my teachers as well as the very rewarding experiences attending the VSA Oberlin workshops.
I use various models for the violins, violas and ‘cellos I make including Italian models and personal models.
