Collection: Cello Wolf Eliminators

Wolf eliminators (or wolf tone suppressors), reduce wolf tones on the cello. Wolf tones are an issue for some instruments, caused by the natural resonant frequency of open strings. If you have a wolf tone, you hear an unpleasant overtone when you play an open string. This can be challenging if you love your instrument! Wolf eliminators alter the resonant frequency of the string, reducing the occurrence of wolf tones, so you can continue to enjoy playing on your instrument.
