About the Maker
Geronimo Barnabetti was a luthier active in Mirecourt in the mid-to-late 19th century, working out of the Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy (or J.T.L.) factory workshop. While a factory instrument might normally be associated with slapdash workmanship, Barnabetti was a luthier known to craft excellent instruments of notable quality.
