Why Metzler?

The Nocturne is our intermediate level house-labeled instrument. We love its beautiful, rich dark varnish, which inspired the name Nocturne - a musical composition on the theme of night-time.

The Nocturne has a crystal clear, brilliant, resonant tone. It is even and responsive across all four strings and registers. Violins and violas are outfitted with Thomastik-Infeld strings and ebony fittings featuring Parisian eyes. Outfit includes instrument, your choice of a fine wood or composite bow, case, rosin, and a microfiber polishing cloth.
