About the Maker
Stephen Sherman is a contemporary luthier who was raised in Wildwood, Missouri, where he began to play classical violin at the age of five. Sherman graduated in 2014. For the next decade, he worked at the Feng Jiang Violins atelier in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sherman has participated in the Oberlin Violin Makers Workshop and lives in Los Angeles where he crafts professional violins full-time.
