Zacharie Rodrigue found a passion in manual work by working alongside his parents on the family farm. It is love of music and craftsmanship that led him to pursue his studies at the École Nationale de Lutherie de Quebec where he graduated in 2014. He enriched his training as a bow maker alongside makers such as Richard Compartino, Éric Gagné, André Lavoye, Gilles Nehr and Emmanuel Bégin.

From 2015 to 2018, he worked at Wilder & Davis Luthiers, Montreal as a luthier under the tutelage of Charles Arsenault where he learned about repair and restoration of the instruments of the quartet family. This experience deepened his view of music, history and the art of violin and bowmaking.

Today, Zacharie focuses on crafting contemporary bows and instruments in his own workshop, working alongside the great group of the Collectif Lutherie Montreal.
